The UP Women Football Team (UPWFT) are gifted student-athletes recruited from all over the Philippines, who are the official representative of the University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
It has been the vision of the UPWFT to be exemplary role models and sources of inspiration for their peers, to be active members of their respective communities, and future leaders in the fields they excel in.
Through football, the team gives back to the community by regularly volunteering and hosting free football clinics for the less fortunate. We also use part of our team funds to provide financial aid to some of the underprivileged but talented players of our team because we believe that football and education should be accessible to everyone.
By participating in the country’s major leagues, hosting charity clinics and other events, and instilling a drive towards learning in the best University in the country in everyone we meet, we aspire to uphold the values of Honor and Excellence. With this, we would like to invite you to be one with the UPWFT in giving our #PerfectEffort on and off the pitch.
